Roman is known to many as the voice, energy and heart behind Crooners.

Recently, Roman was diagnosed with throat cancer and is now undergoing further tests as his treatment plan is put in place. The positive news is that things are moving quickly, and he is approaching this with strength and determination.

As a self-employed singer, Roman’s work is his livelihood. From touring with Crooners, to performing at weddings and events, and working with The Mini Big Band and other projects, his income comes entirely from performing.

For the next few months, while he focuses on treatment and recovery, he won’t be able to sing. This means stepping away from all of his work.

It also means missing the key summer period, typically the busiest time of year for live performers and a significant part of his annual income.

Roman is also a family man, with a wife and two young children, and this period naturally brings financial pressure alongside everything else.

We’ve set this page up as a simple way for those who know Roman, or have enjoyed his performances, to support him during this time.

Whether it’s the equivalent of a coffee, a ticket, or simply a small contribution, it will make a real difference in helping him focus on what matters most right now, his health and recovery.
