Hi friends!

In October we are planning on driving to Romania and back to rescue dogs from kill shelters and bring them to the UK for adoption. We will use this page to document our journey, advertise fundraising events and ask for donations.

This is something that is really close to both of our hearts. Our dog Charlie was saved from a kill shelter and we have fostered other dogs from these places. Despite their horrific pasts these are some of the most loving dogs we’ve ever met.

We are doing this alongside Small Dog Rescue Sussex, an amazing charity we work very closely with who rescue dogs from kill shelters in Europe. However with Brexit coming, the future of their work looks uncertain.

Any donations left over will be shared between Small Dog Rescue Sussex and a charity who carries out spaying and neutering in Romania. Spaying and neutering is the only real long-term solution to this problem as it prevents more dogs from being born into a life of suffering.
