    Story

On one of the richest streets in Bucharest, among the grandiose villas, with artesian fountains and swimming pools, with blooming verandas and English lawn, with garages and glossy cars, large and expensive as far as an estate, there is the ruins of a former communist restaurant. More a pit, than a courtyard, a jungle of bosquitos and a garbage forest, rising mossy-moss: debris of bricks, debris, panties, unpacked boots, things in continuous fermentation.

In the general scenery of the coquettish neighborhood, this place jumps in the eyes of passers-by as a stain of blood on a doctor's white robes. Here people live. Some families. Adults lie in two cubes of concrete that, if they do not have windows, would say they are rather bunked. Here they sheltered their children. The older ones do not go to school, the smallest, eight in number, are not given to kindergarten. There is somewhere in the statistics, but nobody has yet to find them in a classroom. Everyone in the restaurant, together, is 0.016% of all children who are so poor that they do not get to kindergarten.

The little ones follow up to one another the destiny of their parents, and they without a book. But a few months ago, an event diminished the dusty faces of illiterate adults among the ruins: one of the five-year-old girls came before them and began to pour a poetry out of the blue. "A little girl with a beard went to kindergarten, and my mother asked," Do you go to my little girl? "The adults looked at the child, wondering, as if the sweep of the yard rose from below and started flying. with a bruised mouth, as if they had prophesied in the mouth of their mouth not a fish bone, but all sorts of questions they did not want to come out: Where does the girl know how to say something like that? Or come these words from her? but not from them, the poor of the poor, the ignorant of the ignorant. "The little girl continued forward without breathing:" I go to kindergarten to become a doctor ... "

In addition to helping with school supplies, our association through the volunteers with whom we work, we offer families to these children and counseling in children's education. But our effort focuses on educating parents about the importance of educating their children to convince them that whatever happens, no matter what their problems, children should not abandon school. That is why, with your help, our sponsors and donors, we want to provide these children with the school supplies necessary to limit or permanently eliminate the risk of school dropout.

Each child will receive from us the school supplies depending on the donations we will receive from you. Thank you in advance for being with us! Thank you in advance that together we will change the lives of these children so that they have school supplies, school, education, a better future!
