On 27th June 2026, Ron—the legendary giant sweetcorn and arguably the finest mascot in non-league football—will set off from the DCBL Stadium car park in Widnes on a six-mile trek to the APEC Stadium in Runcorn. Expect cheers, laughter, and maybe a few dropped kernels along the way.

The walk will finish in style at the clubhouse, with crowds, high-fives, and the occasional champagne cork popping. Every penny raised will go straight to Runcorn Linnets FC, helping fund projects to make the club even better.

Our junior teams will be joining Ron for the final mile, and anyone is welcome to come along to keep Ron hydrated (prosecco optional, but highly encouraged).
