Founded in 1991, The Charles Burrell Museum in Thetford, Norfolk is situated in the grade II listed Paint Shop. Admission is free, and the museum is kindly ran by friendly volunteers. I'm one of them! The non-profit charity relies solely on donations from the public for the up keep of it's beautiful building and the maintenance of it's three working Burrell engines.

My tandem parachute jump will take place on May 4th 2023 at Beccles Airfield. I have decided to do the parachute jump for a couple of reasons...

First and foremost is for the museum. It's an important part of Thetford culture and I am passionate about ensuring the museum can continue to welcome in the public and share this amazing heritage with the community. The museum is a place that brings joy to many, and should continue to do so for many years to come.

Secondly, the parachute jump will be a significant milestone in my weight loss journey. I am challenging myself to the maximum, and really excited to celebrate that goal by doing the jump!
