I've raised £5000 to help feed the vulnerable during Covid-19.

The current pandemic is leaving thousands of people isolated and unable to get food and supplies. Only yesterday, we spoke to an elderly woman who used "dial-a-ride" so that she could visit the supermarket in the morning, only to find there was nothing on the shelves. Others are scared to answer the door to strangers in fear of being robbed or burgled. Many can simply not afford to "panic buy".
Roots4life is a charity set up to prevent food poverty and the physical and mental health challenges that are faced from malnutrition, obesity and social isolation. It may surprise you that obesity is prevalent in the poorest echelons of society.
However the challenge in hand is getting food and supplies to those that need it most. Not only does this apply to those already in need, but to the recently unemployed due to sudden redundancies!
Roots4life are working in a professional kitchen, making and delivering meals to the vulnerable in the local area. But the team is very small and the number of those getting in contact for help is growing! We need money to ensure we are getting food and supplies out as quickly as possible.
We must work together in this crisis, and it is small charities like ours that can make a difference quickly without having to cut through company bureaucracy! Any donation is greatly appreciated, please share!
