I've raised £1500 to help fund the vital services of the East Radnorshire Day Centre & Helping Our Homeless Wales.

On the weekend of the 3rd - 5th April 2020, I will be taking part in the Shropshire Way 80k challenge walk. I have taken on this route for the last 2 years and to make it more challenging I have decided to tackle the walk twice, back to back, totalling over 100 miles.
I will be setting of at 4pm on April 3rd and finishing the first loop at around 8:30am on April 4th. I will then join the start of the official SW80K challenge walk at 9am on April 4th and hopefully finish at around 5am on April 5th. This will total over 100 miles walking in under 40 hours non stop.
This will be the furthest I've ever walked in one go and will be an extremely hard challenge. I've however decided to take this on to raise funds for 2 extremely vital charities within Presteigne & Wales and all donations received will be split 50:50.
The first charity I'll be raising money for is the East Radnorshire Day Centre. They are a professional, charitable organisation helping to support people in our local community, who are finding it difficult to manage on their own.
They provide the extra support that is necessary to enable people to continue to live in their own home longer. Home Support is not a care agency but offers low level practical assistance to enable people to retain their independence.
The second charity I will be raising money for is Helping Our Homeless Wales. A Mid Wales based charitable incorporated organisation looking to improve the lives of those living on the street. Providing essentials, care and face to face support. They also support those in poverty too.
They supply warm clothing, coats, hats gloves, scarfs, shoes, food items or fresh hampers, toiletries and house hold items if needed.
They have fundraised throughout the winter for sleep pods as the weather gets progressively worse.
All donations are gratefully received, however great or small.
Thank you.
