Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
A dream is coming true as I have been offered a place at Goldsmiths University to do a part time MA in Performance Making! Now this amazing opportunity is within reach, and I am ready for this wonderful adventure ahead!
This MA will finally give me the opportunity to be a performance artist in my own right and provide a platform and the freedom to produce work that will hopefully uplift and inspire.
Goldsmiths is a vibrant university, and the course is directed by lecturers, who not only teach, but are active creative performers who bring their experience directly to the table.
I am excited to be nurtured by Anna Furse, who has her own company, Athletes of the Heart, and Graeme Miller who began Impact Theatre in the 1980s!
I originally graduated in French and have pursued a career so far in languages, teaching and some drama combined, thanks to a strong initiation in physical theatre.
But an MA will push me that extra mile and open up a new level of creative possibility on a collective level.
However, before I can take up that place, I am asking for any help you can offer to support this personal and collective endeavour. I am doing my best to get as much funding as I can through my own means, as well as charities, and any extra you are able to offer would mean the world.
With love & gratitude,

About the fundraiser
All in all, it would be an amazing opportunity to be a part of the exciting creative process provided by the MA performance making, and to be able to produce a body of professional work that may hopefully one day make a positive impact on somebody's life.
