I've raised £3500 to Help Fund a Head Helmet for Lowan

Lowan had appointment today at Sick kids and has just been diagnosed with torticollis (tightening of the neck muscles). Due to this condition he is unable to move his neck very well and it is constantly stuck in the same position. All babies need regular repositioning in order to protect the shape of their head. Unfortunately, because Lowans neck is stuck in the same position it is not possible for him to rest his head any other way. As a result Lowan also has Plagiocephaly (also known as flat head syndrome). His ears are already misaligned, this is permanent and will might affect his balance and development as he grows. This will get worse as he grows older and his jaw can also become misaligned. Loads of physio appointments and exercises at home to do. Because he can’t physically move his neck he will more than likely need a helmet to help correct his head shape, you can reposition a baby with torticollis as much as you want but it would make no difference but I really hope we’re able to fix this as much as possible as you can imagine £2,600 is a lot of money to spend especially when he might need more than one helmet. His first appointment is booked for the 9th february at technology in motion in Glasgow where within 24 hours after his appointment ive to pay a deposit of £850. Any kind of help at all is appreciated, I dont want to ask but its my only option. Thanks
