Story
Hi
As part of my mental health nurse training, I am raising funds to work as a volunteer in a local day care centre with children in Tianyar. The centre has limited resources and I will be helping up to 60 children by teaching them basic English and Numeracy. I can use the skills I gained as a teaching assistant to good effect. I hope as part of my training I can give something back to these children who are less well off than us. I am going with an open mind and I am sure I will learn from them as well.
If you can help fund the travel costs in any way I would be extremely grateful. The deadline for contributions is the 15th of August.
