I'm hoping to raise £250 or more, to help buy equipment to facilitate seal rescues here in Ceredigion, west Wales. Especially needed are seal bags to enable initial uplifts, when in difficult environments.

There are a group of us who check, and sometimes rescue, injured or malnourished youngsters during pupping season, but between us not enough equipment.

I will be doing 100 beach cleans within the county again this winter in support of this initiative. Quite concerned at the volume of rope and fishing line washed up at present in the wake of storm Darragh, especially as can cause marine mammal entanglements.
