I’m planning to volunteer on the Logos Hope!

I am taking a gap year between Sixth Form and University and decided I wanted to have an adventure while doing something worthwhile. So, from Mid-August to the end of October 2019, I will be embarking on the Logos Hope.

The Logos Hope is a 132 metre long Mercy Ship belonging to Operation Mobilisation, which sails all around the world, providing a floating book fair, aid and community work wherever it ports.

OM's ship is a unique vessel and concept: a platform to take literature around the world, to share hope, demonstrate Christ’s love in communities around the world. The 400 volunteers making up Logos Hope’s crew come from more than 60 different nations to serve at sea. In each port, they go ashore to partner with local churches and initiatives. They offer practical help and invest their time in helping others. I can't wait to be a part of it!
