In September I wil be starting a year-long internship with Christians in Sport. The mission of Christians in Sport is to reach the world of sport for Christ.They do this through helping sportspeople to understand that sport and faith can go together, by training Christians to live out and share their faith and by giving opportunities for sportspeople to respond to the Christian message.

As an intern with CiS, I will be based down in Bicester near their head-office where I'll be placed with LifeChurch, Brackley. The focus of this internship will be with student work, sharing the gospel with university players and meeting students to read the bible as well as being stuck in with church life at LifeChurch, Brackley. I will also receive ministry training once a week at St Ebb's Church in Oxford learning to write talks and lead Bible studies.

I am praying that God will use this year to grow me in my personal faith and conviction of the need for Jesus to be made known to others. I am really excited to see the ways in which God will use this year and the work of CiS to bring other sportspeople to know and trust the Lord Jesus.
