Story

We are overwhelmed with everyones generosity, we have already raised over £1300 for the Beresford Centre - Its amazing! We thank everyone for their continued support.

We are lucky enough to have the opportunity to climb Kilimanjaro in July and would like to make the most of this amazing experience by raising money for a brilliant local charity.

The Beresford Centre, Newport offers free counselling to women who have lost a baby, they help with unexpected pregnancy and support women post-termination. This service is invaluable to women who need someone to turn to during these difficult times.

The team at The Beresford Centre work incredibly hard for all their clients and, like all areas of healthcare, their resources are stretched. So every bit of help we can give the centre, will go to the women who need their impartial, compassionate support.

We have already started our preparations, we have become regulars at Go Outdoors, buying all sorts of kit - from sleeping bags to walking poles, ear gear to water purifying tablets. We spent a weekend in North Wales, trekking Snowdon and Cadair Idris and are planning a walking weekend in the Lake District. We are so excited for this adventure and it will mean even more to us to know that we can help a worthy cause.

WE ARE DOING IT FOR THE GIRLS!! #ourcountdowntokili

We have great support from The Beresford Centre, which is a registered charity (1068164) and all proceeds will be going to them.
