I've raised £20000 to commemorate the servicemen of the Great War, and all wars and conflicts since then. The social club was built in their honour.

Story

Reigate Ex Servicemen's Social Club was built in 1920 to support returning servicemen from the Great War of July 1914 to Nov 1918. It is 100 years since the end of the conflict, and almost 100 years since the club was built. The social club has continued to support acting and ex- service personnel throughout this time.

The building is now falling into disrepair and unfortunately we are unable to fund the work without an injection of funds .

The members and the executive committee are committed to the principles of its founders, which is to support service and ex service personnel. We believe we have a moral duty to continue this work in memory of those who served in the Great War and all other conflicts since then .

In recent years, we have expanded our membership base to include other services, not just the armed forces, and this includes fire fighters, and ambulance service personnel, as well as non service members of the people who support our charitable aims .
