Hi all,

I’m raising money to fund a mission trip to Uganda with Flame International. Uganda is a country that has been torn apart in recent years by civil war leaving towns and communities in ruins. The war didn‘t only leave physical scars but it left lives broken with large numbers of Ugandan citizens witnessing horrific scenes.

In September for 17 days, my sister Hannah and I will be visiting three refugee camps engaging with the community, leading sport and art sessions. We will also have a strong focus on helping to develop the children and youth work that is within the refugee camps.

In particular, sport is something that I am extremely passionate about and it has been something that has always played a massive part of my life. This opportunity will enable me to use my passion to spread love and joy in a place where they have experienced extreme trauma.
