I've raised £1000 to raise money for the Rosie Roebuck Performing Arts Foundation

Our daughter Rosie loved the performing arts. She played piano, acted, and sang. She participated in school drama productions and musicals, and also performed in amateur dramatic society plays and pantos.
Like all parents, we thought our daughter was a beautiful and talented young woman. We were in no doubt that she would go on to be a star! Sadly we would never find out, as Rosie's life was tragically cut short in a car accident in July 2018.
Once when I was out of work, we took the tough decision to pull Rosie and her sister Evie out of their drama club for a while, as we were struggling to make ends meet and could not afford the fees. A kind donor stepped in and covered the cost until we were back on our feet.
We have never forgotten this, so in Rosie's memory, we would like to help other children and young adults who love the performing arts, but may not have the resources to get the tuition they need, and to do this we have created the Rosie Roebuck Performing Arts Foundation.
We are not planning anything big, but we would love to help a few young people with their music lessons, drama club fees, or other activities relating to the performing arts. We saw how much joy it brought to Rosie, and how it helped her develop into a confident young performer.
We already have some money that has been raised by Rosie's friends and drama society. We are being assisted by Rosie's drama teacher and music teacher, who will help us find children who might benefit from a little help.
If you can, please donate a few pounds to help talented young people, and help us to remember Rosie.
Thank you, love Alex and Jenny Roebuck, Rosie's parents.
