Story

The Sheffield Rotaract Club is raising money to renovate the garden at the Bridlington Holiday Home owned by the Hull & District Cerebral Palsy Society. The holiday home is a fully accessible house near Bridlington beach, which the Cerebral Palsy Society hires out so that those with Cerebral Palsy and their families can enjoy a seaside holiday in accommodation which is wheelchair-friendly.

We are aiming to raise money for the following:

-an adaptable sandpit to allow wheelchair users to enjoy an enriching sensory experience

-a raised planter to allow wheelchair users to get involved with gardening

-sensory plants, such as lavender and brightly coloured bedding plants, that can be smelt and easily seen, for those who may have limited other senses

-new garden furniture to allow the whole family to fully enjoy relaxing in the sunshine in the garden
