Story
At ASHAY Dance CIC and Khula Arts, we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with 80 talented young individuals from diverse communities in Rotherham and North Sheffield. This unique multi-arts project, funded by the Arts Council, has allowed these young people, aged 10 to 16, to explore their creativity through diverse dance and music styles, filmmaking, creative writing, and visual arts.

Through partnerships with local organizations such as Amara Collective, Clifton Learning Partnership, Eastwood Community Primary School, Steel City Consultancy, and Romano Jilo, we have witnessed remarkable growth in our participants. They have showcased their work at inspiring events like the Uplift Festival and Clifton Park Museum. Additionally, they have had the chance to perform at prestigious platforms such as Ferham Festival and Crossing Borders Youth Dance platform.
The skills they have acquired and the confidence they have gained while collaborating with local artists are truly transformative. As they work towards achieving their Explore and Bronze Arts Awards, we invite you to join us in supporting this incredible journey. Your contribution will help us reach our target of £500 GBP to continue providing these enriching experiences for our young creatives. Together, we can inspire a new generation of artists who will shape our community's cultural landscape.
