The VolkerStevin team at Rother Tidal Walls East, alongside their Client - The Environment Agency and Designer - AtkinsRealis, are embarking on an inspiring challenge to raise vital funds for two incredible charities: the Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity and Teens Unite Young Persons with Cancer Charity.

Using an exercise bike right on site, our dedicated team will cycle an ambitious 176 miles within a single working day. This distance represents the journey from our project site to both charities and back again. Our goal is to raise £1,760 — aiming for £10 for every mile cycled — with all proceeds split equally between these deserving causes.

The Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity supports children under five living with Cerebral Palsy and other Motor Learning Impairments. This charity holds a special place in our hearts as it recently provided support to a family member of one of our team members. Teens Unite is equally close to us, as the VolkerWessels Group proudly stands as a dedicated corporate partner supporting young people bravely facing cancer.
