Story
Jerry and I are out on the road again... 10 years on (COVID delayed) from our first ride on ATVs from John O'Groats to Lands End.
This time we have a different challenge... the four corners of the UK.
We ride in memory of Jerry's son Rob, who lost his fight against cancer in June 2008, aged 13. Then, in April 2009, Jerry was diagnosed with throat cancer; thankfully he has made a full recovery.
Almost all families are touched by cancer, we are doing this challenge to raise money for two Children's Cancer Charities - CCLG and Piam Brown Ward.
We will begin our challenge on the 3rd May 2022 travelling to the four corners of the UK: Lands End, Ardnamurchan Point, John O'Groats and Ness Point. We hope to have completed the trip and be home by the 13th May.
Please give as generously as you can to these worthwhile charities:
Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG)
Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group is a leading children’s cancer charity and the UK and Ireland’s professional association for those involved in the treatment and care of children with cancer.
Piam Brown Ward - Southampton General Hospital
The Piam Brown unit is an oncology and haematology centre caring for children from birth to 16 years. They are one of 22 regional centres across the UK treating children and adolescents with cancer and haematological disorders.
