Story

On the 21st May it will be one year to the day since we should have opened to the general public! We all know what happened in that time...

Unfortunately the expenses of the sanctuary didn't change, in fact, they grew! We are now home to over 60 rescued animals from Chester the orphan lamb, to Ernie & Albert the discarded dairy calves ❤️

Jake & the boys are aiming to continuously run for 24 hours from Newcastle back to the sanctuary, a minimum of 100 miles! They will depart on Friday the 21st May at midday and will not stop until a full 24 hours later - crazy right??!

And we want you to get involved! Whether its doing 10k at home on the same day, a brisk 1k walk with your dog or even joining us on the actual run - we will need all the help we can get! As its been 12 long months since our original opening date, we are aiming to raise £12,000 (any donations aside from just giving will be deducted from this total) - a massive ask we know but if anyone can do it, its the Millington's family ☺️

Please get in touch if you want to join in!

Millington's is funded by a small amount of donations and out of our own pockets. The £12,000 will be spent as follows -

- £1500 outstanding vet bill - £6000 new housing enabling us to rescue upto 8 more animals - £2500 6 months of straw bedding - £1000 enrichment additions to enclosures - £1000 specialist small animal facility

Large donations will receive recognition in the form of -

-£1000 Stable Naming Rights

-£750 Paddock Naming Rights

-£400 Farmer for a Day experience for 2

-£150 Private Tour for 2 with Food

Thankyou so much for your continued support, we couldn't do this without you!
