We’re taking on the Dragon Boat Challenge! 🚣‍♂️

On the 21st September, a team of 20 of us will be hitting the water to take part in the Stratford Dragon Boat Race – all in aid of two amazing causes: The Shakespeare Hospice and The Friends of Alveston.

Most of us have never rowed before… and certainly not in sync with 19 others 🤪. So let’s just say it’s going to be less “Olympic standard rowing” and more “controlled chaos on the Avon”! But what we lack in skill, we’ll be making up for with teamwork & enthusiasm!

Row Hard or Row Home is made up of:

Caz, Simon, Jemma, Ash, Danni, Andy, Becca, Tim, Nicky, Adam, Clare, Andy, Amanda, Adam, Tim, Nat, Luke, Rach, Hannah, & Mark.

We’ll be giving it everything we’ve got (and probably a few sore arms the next day!) to raise as much as we can for:

💜 The Shakespeare Hospice – providing incredible palliative and support services to patients and families across our community.

📚The Friends of Alveston: supporting Alveston CofE Primary School.

Every donation, big or small, will spur us on to row a little harder (and maybe a little straighter!) on race day.
