Story

Despite Rowan's health stabilising in recent months he is still managing several conditions as well as being a part-time user of a wheelchair. Using a wheelchair allows him to participate fully in all the activities he wants to do as well as family days out. It means he can rest when it all gets a bit too much and it means he can go adventures with his Scouting family and participate to the same level as everyone else in his musical theatre class and shows. A wheelchair means he can be included.

The time has come where he has now almost outgrown his current wheelchair so we are starting to fundraise again for a new chair. His current chair is now really too small for some of the activities Rowan wants to do as it is not comfortable so we find ourselves limiting what we do or using the chair for emergencies.

We have had the quote for a new chair and will get him measured again before we order it to ensure that there is maximum room for growth but remaining supportive and enabling the activities he wants to do.
