Meet Rowan, aka Rowostrong.

Help us send him to compete in America.

Now 10 years old, Rowan has been training all of his life. Literally since he could walk. He began with a plastic pipe in his hand copying his dad and travelling with him around the gyms of the UK. He has been coached by his dad, and has a worth ethic seldom seen in juvenile demographics, training 4 times a week alongside school, rugby, martial arts and athletics. Now he is one of the strongest children in the world with a 100kg back squat, a 47.5kg bench press and a 115kg deadlift. Rowan is working to put himself on record as one of the all time strongest youth lifters. Sadly, there are few opportunities for him to be recognised as such in the UK until he is a teenager.

Rowan has been offered a place to compete at the USAPL Youth Nationals in Arizona this August. We are training hard for this event and as a family we are determined to enable this opportunity. Working overtime, running fundraising events, looking for sponsors and selling Rowostrong T-Shirts.

The costs we need to cover include, flights, accommodation, car hire, gym access and IPF approved equipment.

Any contribution is greatly appreciated as we work hard to make Rowan's dream of competing in the States a reality, with the aim of putting a youth British lifter on the record books.
