I've raised £7000 to help bring six abused disabled street dogs from Lebanon to the UK

Bella, Street, Trinity, Jasmine, Elko and Jenny are street dogs from Lebanon. Struggling to survive on the streets, they had been subject to unthinkable abuse, and left for dead. They were rescued and now have the chance to find loving homes in the UK, but not without your support. I am asking you to help me bring Bella, Street, Trinity, Jasmine, Elko and Jenny to the UK, where they can start new lives with people who will love and care for them and show them that most humans have good hearts. Sadly, this is extremely unlikely to happen if they remain in Lebanon.
The mistreatment and abuse of dogs is commonplace in Lebanon, and most street dogs will never feel human kindness or compassion. Neglected, struggling to find food and shelter in the streets, and at risk of experiencing savage cruelty, or being shot or poisoned to death by the municipalities, Lebanese street dogs are subject to an incredibly depressing existence. Bella, Street, Trinity, Jasmine, Elko and Jenny are six of the lucky ones that have a chance to experience love, affection and comfort.
Bella - Sweet Bella had been kicked off a second floor apartment balcony as a puppy and had broken her two front legs and sustained a broken jaw. She was found by a compassionate animal lover, but has ended up in an overcrowded and underfunded shelter, and spends her days hobbling in circles around a small concrete floored cage. When I discovered her, she had just given birth to a litter of puppies, sadly, none of which have survived the punishing conditions.
Street - I found gentle, timid Street locked inside a tiny metal cage at a vet’s practice in Beirut. He had been knocked down by a car, and a passer-by had taken him to the vet, where they were forced to amputate one of his back legs. With no home for him to go to the vet had kept Street in a cage, which didn’t even give him space to stand up. He had been in there for three months when I found him.
Trinity - Trinity is fully blind and was found abandoned in the streets in Lebanon as puppy. She ended up in a large rural dog shelter, but because of her blindness she was subject to attacks and bullying by the other dogs, and spent all her time with her tail between her legs, petrified of the other dogs. There is no chance of Trinity being rehomed in Lebanon, and she will not survive much longer in the shelter.
Jasmine – Jasmine had been kept locked inside a factory from the time she was a puppy, and was being used as a football by the workers. An animal lover became aware of her plight, and rescued her from the factory one night. Malnourished and unable to walk or stand, Jasmine was taken to the vet, who discovered multiple fractures in her body, and was forced to amputate one of her front legs.
Elko - according to locals familiar with him, sweet, gentle Elko had been dumped in the streets by his human family five years ago, and he has been struggling to get by on the harsh, unforgiving streets of Lebanon on his own ever since. He was found malnourished, dehydrated and terrified, and with a severe case of Demodectic Mange. His right leg was also found to be severely injured, and has now been amputated.
Jenny - gorgeous Jenny was hit by a car in rural Lebanon when living on the streets, and was left for dead. She sustained broken hips and back legs from the crash, and since her injuries were left untreated, she now has difficulties using her back legs. Luckily for Jenny, she was found and rescued by an animal lover and is now being cared for in a dog shelter in Lebanon.
Please help me raise the funds I need to bring Bella, Street, Trinity, Jasmine, Elko and Jenny to the UK. Their boarding in Lebanon, journey to the UK and medical care is expensive and I can only save them with your help and teamwork. I am also looking for foster or permanent homes for each dog, so please contact me if you are interested.
Thank you so much for your support.
