Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read about my cause.

Bummit is a charity hitchhiking organisation at the University of Sheffield that raises tens of thousands of pounds for charity each year. On the 8th of November, along with 203 other students, me and my team put ourselves into some hilarious and unpredictable situations in order to raise funds for these amazing and deserving causes. This year your donations will be helping:
Stop Gap - who seek to meet the needs for emergency accommodation for homeless people in Sheffield all year round; Clowne and District Community Transport – who provide accessible transport and social opportunities for people unable to use mainstream public transport in Sheffield; Darnall Community Development Centre (DCDC) - who work with offenders/ex-offenders to integrate them back into the community through placements that directly help a variety of groups such as, youth clubs, women only groups etc; Ashiana Sheffield – who work with Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) adults, children and young people fleeing domestic and sexual abuse and Tiny tickers – who help to improve the early detection and care of babies with serious heart conditions.

We started our hitch hike in Sheffield and ended up at our destination all the way in Brighton, but what a great challenge it was! I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to raise money for a good cause while embarking on an adventure at the same time! My target is to raise £75 in total. If each student that took part in the challenge reaches their target of £75, then overall we will raise at least £15,000 for all the charities listed above.
