I've raised £300 to help Roxy and her 8 puppies to survive. They live in a township and unfortunately their owner can´t afford their food and medical support.

Roxy is a she-dog who lives in a township called Lavender Hill near Cape Town, South Africa. On the 22th September 2017, she gave birth to 8 cute puppies. Unfortunately, her owner can´t afford her living costs, such as dog food or medical surgery. She often spends days without seeing propper food and has never been to the veterinary before. Last year, she had already given birth to 7 puppies, but sadly they all died shortly after, because nobody took care of them. We are not willing to see that happen again!
“You can´t change a dog´s past, but you could rewrite his future.”
Hiroki, Hugo and I, Anne, are volunteers for Projects Abroad and we work near Roxy´s ´´house´´. We try to supply her with food as good as we can and we look after the puppies, but we need the support from outsiders. Roxy and her puppies will need a lot of food during the next couple of months, because they are very weak. Roxy is very skinny and she needs extra dog food, because her milk is getting drier and we are scared that she can´t feed her puppies any longer.
Furthermore, they will all need to go to the veterinary on the third of November, when the puppies are 6 weeks old, to get vaccinations and get sterilised, so that a healthy and happy future is guaranteed for them.
We would be very happy about every support we get and in the name of Roxy we thank you with all our heart!
