Story
Sadly, our beloved Roysten suddenly passed away on 2nd August.
Roy was a wonderful brother, father, friend, and work colleague who made an incredible impact on the lives of those around him.
Roy dedicated his life to his children and all his close family members—there are so many to mention.
He leaves behind his beautiful daughters Demi, Daisy, and Anabelle, and his sister Suzanne.
After teaching history in a secondary school, Roy gave many astounding years of service to the NHS. Working across acute wards, the community, and urgent care services, he was respected by staff and patients alike.
Roy was very passionate about history and had every war book known to man. He enjoyed sailing and cycling with his close friends, and he lived for his family camping holidays!
Roy was skilled in the art of making those around him laugh out loud. He was never without a funny story to tell, and this is the way we would like to remember him.
We are all so heartbroken by his very sudden passing, and Roy's girls were just not prepared to cover the costs of a funeral.
We would like to give him the send-off he deserves, to honour his memory and say our last goodbyes to our Roy, 'The King of the North.'
We have started a fundraiser to collect donations for Roy's funeral costs.
We know that times are difficult for all, but please consider donating if you are able to do so.
We are so very grateful for every single donation during this devastating time. xxxxx
