raised of £5,000 target by 121 supporters

Weʼve raised £4,590 to Raynes Park Vale FC, a community club in our 25th anniversary, to safeguard our existence during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funded on Wednesday, 30th September 2020

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    COVID-19 & RPV

The COVID-19 global pandemic has created uncertainty for football across the world. The professional game is focusing on what support it can get from the government and when it can restart, but the non-league game has been left without support. Clubs are expected to continue to pay bills, registration fees and maintain club grounds without any source of income.

From the players to the coaching staff to the board; everyone at Raynes Park Vale is a volunteer and would greatly appreciate your generosity to help with keeping our community club going.

The main focus of this fundraiser is to help Raynes Park Vale pay the running costs of the club including utility bills and ground maintenance. Anything left over will be used on major repairs such as pitch maintenance and ugrading floodlights.

    What we need from you

We understand that this is a difficult time for everybody and we wouldn't normally ask for donations but anything that can be spared would help our community club survive until non-league football can return.

As a thank you to everyone that donates, they will get free entry to our first home game of the season and feature in our match day programme.

    Our 25th anniversary

It's 25 years since the merger of Raynes Park and Malden Vale in 1995. We are a community club and currently run teams from Under 8s through to the senior men's team that play in the Combined Counties League (Step 5 of the non-league pyramid).

To mark our anniversary we aim to host a match at Grand Drive between the current first team and an old boys XI. We hope to celebrate the occasion with the community and thank you for your generosity, which will ensure that Raynes Park Vale FC can survive COVID-19 and continue to support the local area, through football, into the next 25 years.

    Continue your support

Once the pandemic has eased we'll post on our social media channels details of the 25th anniversary match. We would love for you to attend so that we can show how your donations have made a difference.

Please follow us on twitter and instagram to continue your support.

    Continue fundraising for RPV

If you want to help but are unable to donate, please consider using easy-fundraising. Your purchases at stores including Argos, Next, Debenhams, John Lewis, Toys R Us, HMV and over 2000 others enable RPVFC to receive a free donation of up to 15% from every purchase you make. It really is that simple!

All you need to do is visit and when you register, select Raynes Park Vale FC as the organisation you wish to support
