    Story

    COVID-19 & RPV

The COVID-19 global pandemic has created uncertainty for football across the world. The professional game is focusing on what support it can get from the government and when it can restart, but the non-league game has been left without support. Clubs are expected to continue to pay bills, registration fees and maintain club grounds without any source of income.

From the players to the coaching staff to the board; everyone at Raynes Park Vale is a volunteer and would greatly appreciate your generosity to help with keeping our community club going.

The main focus of this fundraiser is to help Raynes Park Vale pay the running costs of the club including utility bills and ground maintenance. Anything left over will be used on major repairs such as pitch maintenance and ugrading floodlights.

    What we need from you

We understand that this is a difficult time for everybody and we wouldn't normally ask for donations but anything that can be spared would help our community club survive until non-league football can return.

As a thank you to everyone that donates, they will get free entry to our first home game of the season and feature in our match day programme.

    Our 25th anniversary

It's 25 years since the merger of Raynes Park and Malden Vale in 1995. We are a community club and currently run teams from Under 8s through to the senior men's team that play in the Combined Counties League (Step 5 of the non-league pyramid).

To mark our anniversary we aim to host a match at Grand Drive between the current first team and an old boys XI. We hope to celebrate the occasion with the community and thank you for your generosity, which will ensure that Raynes Park Vale FC can survive COVID-19 and continue to support the local area, through football, into the next 25 years.

    Continue your support

Once the pandemic has eased we'll post on our social media channels details of the 25th anniversary match. We would love for you to attend so that we can show how your donations have made a difference.

Please follow us on twitter and instagram to continue your support.

Good luck to you all. I live away now but have fond memories of this old ground from my younger days. You have to keep it going.
