‎اَلسَّلاَ مُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

Alhamdullilah, Ramadan 2021 has come upon us all and RRCA is back again after a long wait to raise money to help orphans in need.

This year, we have decided to do a project directly by ourselves, somewhere more closer to heart and home in Bangladesh. We will be raising funds to build a classroom in a madrasah/education centre for orphan children in Bishwanath, Sylhet.

The entire madrasah will be a 240 x 45 ft madrasah once completed. The madrasah will consists of shops (to maintain the running cost of the madrasah in the future), large class rooms, canteen/kitchen, bedrooms for students, wudhu rooms, staff rooms and a roof terrace to hold islamic events/lectures based on 2/3 floors.

The money we raise will go towards building a classroom named after our brother, Muhammed Khayrul Alom (Known as Shueb) who passed away in Ramadan 2020.

As many of you know, Shueb suffered a heart attack at home on 17th May 2020 and was pronounced brain dead 2 days later, meaning there was no reaction/signal from his brain to any part of his body.

After days of repeated neurology tests, the doctors switched off his machine and he returned to his Lord in the blessed month of Ramadan, at the age of 32.

Shueb was one of most big hearted person there was, he suffered from chronic kidney disease, hernia, osteoarthritis, asthma yet he still smiled and showed love to everyone he met. He would always treat people to a munch and spend time with friends and family, making us all laugh and smile till early hours of the morning. Wallahi he was the best older brother anybody could ask for. May Allah have mercy on him.

Even whilst being ill, he was there in every RRCA charity stall in 2019. He came back from dialysis and stood there for hours raising money for children in Yemen, whilst he was tired and in constant pain. He was a big part of the team and made it more joyous and fun for all of us.

If we reach over our target for the classroom, we will then use the remaining donations towards the rest of the madrasah construction.

We have floor plans, material info, videos and pictures of the current and future plans of this project. Please get in touch with us on @rrca_uk on instagram. We are also selling sweet treats for charity this month and all profits will go towards this project.

We ask Allah to grant you all the ability to support and share this project. We ask Allah to make this Madrasah a Sadaqah Jariyah for our beloved brother, Shueb Bhaiyah and all those who donate. We ask Allah to accept this from us and bestow His infinite mercy on the Ummah of Muhammed ﷺ in this blessed month of Ramadan. Ameen.

The Prophet SAW said “The believers shade on the day of ressurection will be his charity.” - Sahih Al Tirmidhi
