Story

The RSPCA (Coventry, Nuneaton & District branch) relies heavily on charity donations to survive. The money helps to treat, feed and care for all of the dogs and cats that it cares for.

Many of the animals are abandoned or have been rescued from ill-treating owners - and those animals often need expensive medical attention from a vet or lengthy rehabilitation and training - all of which requires expensive treatment.

As an animal lover, I regularly donate to the RSPCA - however, the Christmas period is an extremely busy period as many dogs, cats and animals are given to people as presents - but unwanted by the people they have been given to. Many of these animals are then abandoned or neglected - and have to be taken in for care by the RSPCA.

With your help, you can help raise some money so that a donation can be made in time for Christmas to help the RSPCA care for animals in their centre at their busiest time of the year.

I am already donating dog food, cat food, toys, blankets and bedding, to help the animals over Christmas - however, I would also like to raise as much cash as possible for the RSPCA Coventry, Nuneaton & District branch (based in Coundon Wedge, Coventry) so that it can be used by the centre for vet costs, new equipment, animal food and toys, running costs - and anything else that may benefit the centre and it's animals.

Please help by donating anything you can spare - even a small donation as little as £1 can help buy a tin of dog or cat food.

Please note that this donation will go directly to the centre - not the Head Office - so you can be assured that the money that you donate will go directly to the care and treatment of animals only.
