We lost Ruaraidh Hilleary peacefully in his sleep at home in Skye on 16th February 2021 only a few days after his 95th birthday, when he had been enjoying champange and crab and regaling us over Zoom with tales of adventure and making us laugh. The care he received from the NHS staff in Skye and Lochalsh in his later years was nothing short of astonishing.
