Story

Theatre lovers, we need your help!

Rubbish Shakespeare Company and Wing It Impro are taking two shows to this year’s Edinburgh Fringe: 'Rubbish Romeo and Juliet' and 'Improvised Rubbish Shakespeare - The Incomplete Works'.

Both are made for families, and help to make Shakespeare and improvisation accessible for all - for everyone - regardless of age or background.

With YOUR help we can make sure Shakespeare, impro and quality family-friendly theatre reach more families than ever. Through the Fringe, which is basically a giant trade show, we'll be able to show our work to as many venues and programmers as possible, and build a tour in Spring/ Summer 2024 that will travel the UK, and employ 12 very talented performers.

The money raised will go towards the astronomical costs of accomodation in Edinburgh, which is at an all-time-high; and whilst they may be rubbish, we should still probably feed our cast as well.

However much you can give, big or small, helps. And don't be rubbish, book your tickets and share our shows with anyone you think will enjoy them.

Let's Makespeare!

★★★★★ Delightfully wacky… rubbish is certainly not a word that will be uttered when the audience leave the theatre - Stewart McLaren, Families Edinburgh Magazine

Inventive improv, attention grabbing energy, superb delivery and a sense of comic timing that bordered on the genius. Go and see it – it’s one of those rare pieces of theatre with something for everyone - ★★★★★ Tim Wilcock, Fringe Review

★★★★★ Quite brilliant and delightfully bonkers – Robin Winters, The Reviews Hub
