At the end of November, my mum, dad and I will be going on a 20-mile bike ride to raise £1,000 for Kingsdown School, with the goal of replacing their beloved minibus when the time comes.

The school has started an incredible fundraising campaign to support their "Beyond the Curriculum" Provision, which offers students enriching adventures outside of the classroom. These experiences include the Coastal Schools programme, horse riding, Sealife Adventure visits, Barleylands, and many more unforgettable trips.

At the heart of these adventures is "Ralph," the cherished Kingsdown minibus. Ralph has been a faithful companion over the years, but he is now reaching a point where repairs are becoming increasingly necessary. The dedicated staff at Kingsdown are understandably anxious about what might happen if Ralph were to break down; this could jeopardize students' access to these vital experiences.

To ensure that future generations can continue to benefit from these amazing trips, Kingsdown School will be holding fundraisers to replace Ralph when his time comes.
