Making Every Moment Count for Ruby

​Recently, our world was turned upside down when our beautiful Ruby was diagnosed with Infantile Onset Tay-Sachs Disease, an incredibly rare and progressive genetic condition.

​To be given this diagnosis—which there is currently no cure—is a devastating reality that no parent should ever have to face. Because the disease is life-limiting, we know our time with Ruby is precious. We don't have a timeline, but we know the disease is very cruel, and can progress quickly.

​Micky and Sam want to be able to cherish the time they have with Ruby, focusing on her comfort and filling her life with love and joy. However, the pressures of everyday life doesn't stop for a diagnosis.

Why we are raising funds:

We're setting up the page in hopes of raising awareness of Tay-Sachs but ultimately want to help give Micky and Sam the freedom to be able to focus entirely on Ruby and her care. Your donations will go toward:

• ​Allowing Micky and Sam to take some time off work to spend as much time as they can with Ruby.

• ​Creating special memories and experiences for Ruby while she can enjoy them.

• Help toward the cost of any specialized care, medicine, therapy and equipment during this impossible time.

While we cannot change her diagnosis, we can change the story of the time she has left.
