As a lot of people know, I have an intense passion and love for the ocean and have always done what I can to help the ocean environment as well as the animals in it. I am the south coast regional representative for Surfers Against Sewage and for the last year have been campagining for a plastic free coastline. This has involved 4 big beach cleans with up to 200+ volenteers showing and up to 20kg of plastic pollution collected from one beach alone. But I want to take this love and passion further, I want to see and work with the marine animals humans are effecting, and I want to help first hand. I have been lucky enough to get a place volenteering with Frontier Tenerife, a charity that collects incredibly important data on the whale and dolphin species there and monitors the marine population in that area.
