For the past few years Ruby has become passionate about action against climate change. With help and encouragement from her mentor Jess, she has spoken at rallies in Edinburgh, set up a climate youth group in the community and helped organise and run events. She has also received a community champion award from the Scottish Government.

Ruby has been accepted to join the Climate Reality Leadership Corps and invited to be trained by former US Vice President Al Gore in Berlin. At 15 years old she will be the youngest person at the training.

Ruby is delighted to be invited but as it was short notice we are hoping to raise some money to pay for flights and accommodation in Berlin which we have borrowed to ensure she goes..
