Story
East Lothian gymnastic Academy have recently had to move venues for the 4 piece gymnasts because of the rising costs of hiring the sports halls in Edinburgh and mid Lothian. Luckily their base is in East Lothian, however they are not completely set up, and currently don't have any bars (Rubys favourite piece of equipment) for the gymnasts to train on at their base. New equipment is needed to help the gymnasts develop and learn new skills.
ELGA currently has gymnasts from the age of 5 +, and has recreational and competitive gymnasts for 2 piece, 4 piece and display team. They compete and perform at various different places around Scotland throughout the year and are enjoying competing and learning new skills for their next levels.
Ruby absolutely loves her gymnastics, and has decided that she wants to try and fundraise to help her club raise some money towards the cost of some of the equipment they need.
She has decided to take part in the Dirleton run on the 2nd of September 2018 and aims to complete the 5k race, having never run before.
Any help you can give her to encourage her on her training runs throughout the summer and towards her goal of raising some money would be very gratefully received.
Thankyou
