Story
We are planning to install a musical garden at Lethbridge Primary School in memory of Ruby Shakespeare who was a pupil at the school until she died from a brain tumour, aged 10, in July 2011. Ruby's younger sisters, Jemima and Eva, now attend Lethbridge and we'd like to complete this project before Jemima leaves year 6 next summer.
Ruby loved music and we feel this will be a wonderfully appropriate memorial to her. The garden will feature beautifully crafted, robust, permanent instruments in an area which will be accessible to all pupils. It is anticipated that their use will be educational, therapeutic and recreational.
