We are three university students who are volunteering with Education Partnerships Africa. We are working with Rugando College in western Uganda to improve the quality of the secondary education provided. The budget we have is insufficient to deal with the many problems that the school faces; from unsafe floors to broken computers to overcrowded dormitories.

Thus, we are asking for donations which will go towards the cost of tables, chairs, book shelves and beds.

Costs and explanation of need are as follows:

1.Table- £24 Bench- £6

Rugando college doesn't have enough tables and chairs in its classrooms. Currently, students have to share seats and sometimes have to stand. We need 12 tables and 24 benches for one classroom.

2. Book shelves- £36

Currently there are textbooks in the library but they are getting dirty and mouldy due to being piled up on the floor. We need 6 book shelves.

3. Triple metal bunkbed- £44 Mattresses- £16

222 of the 361 students are boarders. However, the school doesn't have enough beds for all of the students so there are 4 students in each bunk bed and sometimes, students have to sleep on the floor. We will buy as many beds as possible from the money raised.
