🏉 Help Glossopdale Bring Rugby to Kenya! 🌍

We are a passionate group of rugby players from Glossop Rugby Club, travelling with Glossopdale School to take part in a life-changing volunteering experience in Nakuru, Kenya in October 2026, in partnership with African Adventures.

Our mission?

To make a difference in the lives of children from disadvantaged communities — through sports, education, and compassion.

🎯 What We're Doing:

Volunteering in local schools to support teachers, create safe learning environments, and engage with students.

Introducing rugby to Kenyan children — many of whom have never played before.

Coaching core skills, teamwork, and discipline through sport.

Donating rugby equipment to the schools, so they can continue enjoying the game long after we've gone.

💰 What We Need:

We're aiming to raise £6,000 to help cover:

The cost of the trip for our volunteers

A supply of rugby balls, cones, bibs, and other training gear to leave in Kenya

Support for school infrastructure and resources as part of the African Adventures programme
