I'm raising £5000 to Support Rugeley Rugby Club Junior Section

Story

On 20th June 2026, the dedicated coaches and volunteers of Rugeley Rugby Club will be taking on an incredible challenge — walking for 12 hours and covering 24 miles across the legendary Yorkshire Three Peaks.

This challenge isn’t just about endurance. It’s about giving back to the young players who are the future of our club.

Every week, our volunteers give their time, energy and passion to provide a safe, supportive and inspiring environment for children to learn rugby, build confidence and make lifelong friends. Now we’re stepping up to raise vital funds to support the Rugeley Rugby Club Junior Section.

All money raised will go towards essential resources such as:

• Training and safety equipment

• Kit and playing resources

• Coaching support and development

These funds will help ensure that every child — regardless of background — can enjoy rugby in a safe, well-equipped and welcoming environment.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks is one of the UK’s toughest walking challenges, involving steep climbs, rough terrain and unpredictable weather. Completing it over 24 miles in 12 hours will push us physically and mentally, but it’s nothing compared to the impact your support will have on the young players who wear the Rugeley shirt with pride.

Every donation, big or small, will help us invest directly in our junior players and secure the future of Rugeley Rugby Club.

Thank you for supporting our coaches, volunteers and, most importantly, our children.
