إنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ ۖ فَعَسَىٰ أُولَٰئِكَ أَنيَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ (سورة التوبة الآية 18)

"The mosques of Allah are only to be build and maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear any except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided."

We are reaching out to you to help us raise £52,500 for the Mezzanine floor of Rumi Mosque. This expansion will provide our sisters with a dignified and comfortable place to pray. It will also protect our praying brothers from the cold, rain, and scorching sun during Jummah (Friday), Taraweeh, and Eid prayers. Currently, our mosque cannot accommodate our ever-increasing congregation—Alhamdulillah!

عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا لِلَّهِ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِثْلَهُ

Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”

Rumi Mosque is not just a masjid; it is a bastion of community that addresses all aspects of Muslim life.

We offer Madrassah for children and youngsters and create opportunities for meaningful discussions through our Islamic and social circles (Halaqahs) for men and women of all ages. We also provide essential Nikkah and funeral services along with counselling sessions that offer emotional and psychological support during these challenging times.

Additionally, we host weekly community breakfasts and arrange school visits open to our non-Muslim neighbours to foster understanding and portray the true essence of Muslim society—striving to enhance community relations.

To expand our masjid's capacity by 150 persons, we need to raise £52,500. A Musallah (prayer place) costs just £350; your contribution can earn you infinite rewards!
