I've raised £750 to support my ultra marathon for the Brechin High School Rwanda Fund.

In just 100 days in 1994, some 800,000 people were slaughtered in Rwanda by ethnic Hutu extremists. They were targeting members of the minority Tutsi community.
This year Brechin High School are raising funds to send 10 young people to Rwanda. We work alongside Comfort International. A charity established in 1999 to support genocide survivors and more recently people in Burundi.
On our last visit to Rwanda we were able to provide:
New beds for residencies of street children
A laptop for a Technical College
Clothes for vulnerable mothers and their babies
Paint for residencies of street children
Cement for the building and repair of homes
Support for a widow's craft group
To support the fundraising on Friday 3rd May I'll be swapping my usual drive to Brechin for a marathon run to and from work. This will be a total of 55.6 miles. It is an ambitious challenge for a cause that is very close to my heart.
