I've raised £500 to raising money for the Seven Acre Horse Sanctuary so they can keep rescuing and rehabilitating horses and ponies in need.

Seven Acre Horse are a family run horse sanctuary, taking in unwanted, abused, neglected, naughty and rescue horses and ponies. They have many in at most times of the year.
A few are lifers that cannot be rehomed for reasons like health etc. They never sell the horses at any stage even if they have been at a home for many years, but re-home on yearly contracts. The horse or pony can never be sold or rehomed so if the new "owner" decides that they do not want them they have to come back to the sanctuary.
At the moment they are an unregisted charity but a registered unregistered charity which means they have signed all the declarations, code of conducts etc which the government have.
They cannot be a registered charity unless they recieve £5000 worth of donations in one year but the catch 22 situation is people do not want to donate unless charities are registered so it makes it harder for them to become registered.
So this is where I step in. I'm pledging to run 30 miles throughout the month of September to raise as much money as I can to help them become a registered charity and therefore, receive more donations.
Seven Acre Horse Sanctuary are very close to many people at Lea Barn Stables, where my horse Kia and her mum, Kimberley, live.
We have two Sanctuary horses at the stables, Petal and Mickey, who have found their forever homes with their forever humans. Examples of the great work the Sanctuary does.
So please, dig deep and give what you can so these lovely people can keep doing the amazing job they do if helping and healing and humming l homing these horses.
