Meet our Team:

Connor Whiting

Hello, I’m Connor. I’m running the Great South Run for Toucan Diversity. I’m currently a serving member of the Royal Navy. So I’m training whilst deployed in the Gulf for this event. I’m very excited to start fundraising and raising awareness of this amazing organisation.

Amina Elmansouri

I’m Amina and I am very proud to run for Toucan Diversity. The work they do is absolutely vital and opened my eyes to the lack of inclusiveness in the UK. Many people don’t realize how large the gap still is and how much more needs to be done. Madissa has made a massive contribution to inclusiveness awareness and I am honoured to help raise the funds for someone to continue her brilliant work.

Paul Carter

Paul is delighted to be entering the Great South Run as a fundraiser for Toucan Diversity and said “I am proud to be running the GSR for Toucan Diversity as it is essential that this wonderful organisation, founded by Madissa Asgari, continues its amazing work creating awareness of disability and continuing to work with organisations and their people to ensure that diversity and inclusivity are top of the agenda because equality is essential in the creation of truly world class, high performing businesses in which their people thrive.”

Alison Read

Hi, my name is Alison Reed and I am proud to be running and raising funds for Toucan Diversity and its legacy fund. I met Madissa Asgari when she was a young girl and was so proud to have employed her as an adult with her incredible team, to deliver inclusion training for support workers in the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. I have literally just returned to running after a three-year break due to injury - I shall be run/walking the Great South Run to celebrate Madissa’s life and also to raise funds for this incredible organisation. Bring it on.

Tom Silver

Tom is one of Toucan's accredited trainers delivering 'Autism Awareness'. We are so grateful that Tom is running the Great South Run for Toucan Diversity. He has worked with Madissa from the very beginning of her setting up the social enterprise.

Morgan Davis

Hello, my name is Morgan Davies and I have been helping the family throughout their bereavement and saw this opportunity to help the wonderful cause that is Toucan Diversity. Madissa has touched so many lives and it would be a real shame to see her vision go to waste! So, I will be trying my hardest to make sure that her position is filled and to ensure this organisation continues with changing perceptions and continues with its invaluable training.

Sam Silver

"I'm training for the Great South Run to support Toucan Diversity and their legacy fund to continue the amazing work started by the awe inspiring Madissa Asgari. I'm training with the support of two cocker spaniels with a serious rabbit chasing habit, so it's all very challenging, but totally worth it...."

Simon Carter

Hi I’m Simon I am running the GSR for Toucan Diversity helping create funds for the wonderful work they do in helping people with disabilities become more included in day-to-day life and also making people aware/ educate about people with disabilities. Please donate.
