Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Runcorn's bells are in dire need of restoration. Cast in 1851, and last overhauled before the Second World War, they have been neglected for decades. But, a new effort has been launched to save the only ring of bells in the town, and the second oldest complete ring of eight in Cheshire.
We need £75,000 to reach our goal; we are hoping to raise £1000 through this online campaign while we work on getting a more permanent online fundraising portal.
Please donate what you can to help these bells ring again. A small team is keeping the sound alive but we really need your help. Every donation, large or small, will make a difference. If you would like to gift-aid your donation, please email email@example.com or visit the Facebook page for a gift-aid form.
Why not donate your first new, polymer ten pound note? Make a difference to a local community instead of simply pocketing it. If just 100 people donate their tenner, that's a whopping £1000 into our fund!
