Runcorn's bells are in dire need of restoration. Cast in 1851, and last overhauled before the Second World War, they have been neglected for decades. But, a new effort has been launched to save the only ring of bells in the town, and the second oldest complete ring of eight in Cheshire.

We need £75,000 to reach our goal; we are hoping to raise £1000 through this online campaign while we work on getting a more permanent online fundraising portal.

Please donate what you can to help these bells ring again. A small team is keeping the sound alive but we really need your help. Every donation, large or small, will make a difference. If you would like to gift-aid your donation, please email rich.westman@gmail.com or visit the Facebook page for a gift-aid form.

Why not donate your first new, polymer ten pound note? Make a difference to a local community instead of simply pocketing it. If just 100 people donate their tenner, that's a whopping £1000 into our fund!
