We are taking part in the brutal tough mudder 5k on the 11th Aug in order to raise money for the cardiac ward at the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield. Our Grandpa is currently recovering from a multiple bypass operation and during his stay we've seen how the lack of funding is affecting their patients.
When patients need to use the bathroom they have to wait for a wireless monitor of which there is 1 between 8 beds. If we could raise enough to even buy 1 more monitor that would be incredible. We also want to donate to this particular ward to show our gratification for their hard work and genuine care for or Grandpa Derek.
