I've raised £500 to support Chris Mills #moneyformillzy

A crazy bunch of ladies and gents from The Lean Body Project (plus some of their friends) are running the We ❤ Manchester 10k on the 8th July 2018 to raise funds for #moneyformillzy.
At the tender age of 28, my baby brother Chris Mills (aka Millzy) suffered a devastating stroke after an artery in his neck tore spontaneously whilst he was getting ready to go to work one morning.
Chris is now paralysed from the neck down and has a tracheostomy and a ventilator to breathe for him.
At the moment he is still in hospital 52 miles away (Southport is the nearest spinal injuries unit) but he is hoping to.move to a care home nearer to his own home, his lovely fiance, Kayleigh and the rest of his family and friends whilst he and Kayleigh look for a suitable house for them to live in. Chris and Kayleigh's house isn't suitable to adapt to meet Chris's needs so sadly he won't be able to go back there.
Chris is still the cheeky, kind, caring and far too clever for his own good kind of bloke he has always been and he still cracks his daft jokes, watches his beloved MCFC (albeit from his hospital bed rather than his seat at the Ethiad) and he still bosses his fiance, his parents and his siblings around (even though he is the youngest)!!
We want to raise as much as we possibly can for #moneyformillzy so that Chris can explore treatment options not available in the UK and so that he and Kayleigh can have the best future possible, it's the least that they deserve
Huge thank you to everyone running to raise funds and an even bigger thank you to people for donating!!
